Use what you know · LESSON 4 / 4
Read two profiles and make an introduction
Combine a name, nationality and role without sharing personal details.
Read two fictional profiles. Yuna: Korean, student. Junho: Japanese, doctor. These are invented practice details, not claims about real people. Use the statements to find information, then build an introduction of your own fictional character.
Yuna: I am Yuna. I am Korean. I am a student.
About Junho: he is Japanese and a doctor.
Yuna is not a doctor.
New Unit 2 examples are text-based. No pronunciation recording or automatic speaking score is used.
Reuse the patterns rather than memorizing the whole paragraph. Give a topic, then a nationality or role. You can omit repeated topics when the context is clear, but the practice here keeps them visible. The examples use fictional details; no name, nationality or profession is collected from you.
Try it yourself
According to these profiles, which person is a student?
Choose a statement that matches Junho’s profile.
Which statement matches Yuna’s profile?
Introduce yourself as the fictional character Yuna.
…
RETRIEVE BEFORE YOU REVEAL
Say it in your own time.
Make a three-sentence introduction for a fictional Korean student named Yuna. Then say Yuna is not a doctor.
저는 유나예요. 저는 한국 사람이에요. 저는 학생이에요. 유나는 의사가 아니에요.
This is your own speaking check; pronunciation is not recorded or graded.
Resolve each question and make a recall self-check to save completion. Unit menus remain available for browsing.
