다시 and 천천히: make your request clearer
Ask for repetition or slower speech.
Previous and Next let you browse. Save & next records completed practice.
A learner may know the words but miss a fast reply. Add a small word to a request you already understand.
Please say it again.
Please speak slowly.
Please read it slowly.
A quick reminder before you practise
Recognize a small set of present polite action forms.
다시 means again; 천천히 means slowly. Put them before the requested action. They solve different problems: ask for repetition when you missed something, or slower speech when the speed is difficult. You can combine them later, but practise one purpose at a time.
Try it yourself
You did not hear the last sentence. Ask for repetition.
Which word asks for a slower speed?
What does 천천히 읽어 주세요 request?
Build “Please speak slowly.”
…
RETRIEVE BEFORE YOU REVEAL
Say it in your own time.
Ask for repetition, then ask for slower speech.
다시 말해 주세요. 천천히 말해 주세요.
Your speaking check is self-reported. Pronunciation is not recorded or graded.
